Taking a "Heavy Experimental" tour up and down our West Coast with the inspiring and inspired XOVER (Danilo Casti) of Sardinia evoked this aural smattering of the new and not-new family that sent us off, took us in, and took us back. Originally meant to be a bi-coastal split between West Coast US and 360 degree coastal Sardinian artists, practical time's flotsam and jetsam shored only as the more local contribution, cued up as a literal tape delay; a time capsule of sorts, a reflection of what was vivid and vital nearly two years ago, and a compass to a spirit space grown-into. Nearly every show of that time was capped by an all bill "family jam" convening on what is greater than the sum. The resonance of the tape speaks warbles in comfortable crowding.
